The Chamber is a volunteer organization composed of individuals, businesses, industries, educators, and professionals who work together to advance the business, financial, industrial and civic interests of our community. It is an action agency designed to meet your needs! The organization is operated by a Board of Directors elected by the Chamber’s members. Annually the Board nominates the President, Vice Presidents, and Officers. The administrative head of the Chamber is the Executive Director.

A graduate of Georgetown College, Lee resides in Georgetown with his wife and two sons. In 2012 Lee accepted the position of Executive Director of Equestrian Events, Inc. (EEI). EEI is the organizing body for the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event that annually draws over 80,000 guests to the Kentucky Horse Park.

As one of only six events in the world to be recognized as a CCI*****, the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event is iconic in the sport of eventing and for Central Kentucky. As Executive Director of EEI, Lee is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the organization to ensure we produce the highest quality event possible.

Prior to joining EEI Lee held the position of Senior Vice President for the National Tour Association. While with NTA, Lee oversaw all of the association’s operations and events. He was responsible for planning events all throughout North America and Europe ranging in size from 300 people to 3,000.  

 

Lee’s family includes his wife, Laura, and sons Eli and Graham.

Bridget Foster is the director of Business Development, Community Outreach, Marketing and Provider Relations & Industry at Georgetown Community Hospital and Bluegrass Community Hospital, both part of LifePoint Health. She is a selected member of the LifePoint Health PRI Council, LifePoint Health Marketing Council and LifePoint Health Marketing and Communications Leadership Institute.

Prior to her current role, Foster spent two years in medical sales. Collectively, she has a span of over 14 years of outside business-to-business sales experience. Foster received her Masters of Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University and Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from University of Kentucky.

She grew up on a farm in Western Kentucky and currently resides in Scott County with her husband and daughter.

She is greatly involved and active within the community, including but not limited to, Elkhorn Crossing School Advisory Council, Georgetown Kiwanis Club President & Marketing Chair, Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees & President-Elect, Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Marketing & Events Committee, Georgetown Healthcare Professionals, Health Care Explorers Post 1140 Committee Member, Kentucky Society for Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing, Leadership Scott County, Quest Farm Executive Board and Salvation Army Advisory Council Board.

In 1981, Kimberly began working at Farmers Bank as a co-op student, answering the switchboard in the customer accounting department. In 2008, Farmers Bank merged with its sister bank, United Bank, which enlarged the geographic footprint and increased the communities the bank served-and in 2018 aquired by WesBanco with locations in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. 

 

Over her 37 years at United Bank, she went from being a working high school student to a senior officer. She learned the business of banking at a young age and considers it one of her greatest accomplishments. “Education is important but for my journey, I was able to learn the business of banking hands on.”

Kimberly believes in being involved in organizations within her community. “Like so many people, my greatest satisfaction comes from helping others,” she says.

Kimberly and her husband, Barry, enjoy being at her parents’ farm where they raise cattle and hay. “My parents have had the greatest impact on my career because they taught me the importance of a strong work ethic, respect, and caring for others,” she says.

Denice has worked in the financial institution industry for over 15 years. She currently works as the Branch Manager for Commonwealth Credit Union where she has been bettering lives for 3 years. 

She has a  passion to serve the Scott County Community and is a recent graduate of Scott County Leadership. She has served on the Chamber'sMarketing and Events committee for three years and has assisted with Transform Scott County leadership pilot program.

Originally from Erie Pennsylvania, Denice moved to Kentucky after attended Penn State Erie, The Behrend College majoring in Accounting.  She has lived in Scott County for 13 years. She has been married to her college sweetheart, Rocky for the past 20 years and they have one daughter named Carly.  Carly is attending University of Kentucky studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OFFICERS

Fenella is a Human Resource Analyst at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky. She has worked at Toyota Motor North American (TMNA) headquarters in Talent Management and was pivotal in staffing Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Mississippi (TMMMS).  Currently, she is the Diversity Recruiter at TMMK, leads the Advanced Manufacturing Technician Program (AMT) and is the secretary of Bluegrass KY FAME. She has over 21 years of experience working in the automotive industry in the areas of manufacturing and human resources. She has worked as a supervisor at General Motors, labor representative and in human resources administration.   

 

Fenella is the owner of a consultancy Fenella Smith Consulting which provides individual and team development on topics such as problem solving, communication, diversity, inclusion, leadership and professional development. She specializes in mediating difficult conversations and is an executive coach. Fenella Smith Consulting connects individuals with specialty problem solving skills with opportunities to work in manufacturing & medical industries.

 

Fenella has her own 501( c )(3) non-profit Higher Learning Unlimited which provides diverse students, grades 9-12, with all post high school opportunities.

 

In addition, Fenella was previously the host of her own radio talk show Thinking Beyond Your Current Circumstances.  Fenella has a master’s degree from Antioch University and is an adjunct faculty member at Indiana Wesleyan University where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses such as Strategic Management, Applied Management Project, Human Resources Development, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Business Math, and Negotiations.

 

Fenella is a board member of the Nest for Women and Children in Lexington, Kentucky.

Mr. Hamilton has a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky. He is Vice President of Nally and Gibson LLC and the Georgetown office of Hamilton Hinkle Paving, LLC. Mr. Hamilton is also associated with Nally and Gibson Hauling.

He is past Chairman and Board Member of the Kentucky Crushed Stone Association, Past President and Board Member of the Plant-Mixed Asphalt Association of Kentucky and current Chairman and Board Member of the Kentucky Association of Highway Contractors. He is a Board Member Kentuckians for Better Transportation. 

He is a member Saint Francis and Saint John Church in Georgetown. He is a member of the Leadership Council of the Newman Center at the University of Kentucky. He currently is serving a term as a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce.

Jeanne, originally from Long Island NY, has lived in Kentucky for 34 years and calls it home. She is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam, CW Post/Long Island University, and the University of Kentucky.

Although retired from Scott County Schools as the district’s director of instructional technology, she continues to serve on advisory boards of Adobe, Apple, Google, and Intel.

 

Currently, Biddle is a consultant with the Center for Quality People and Organizations (CQPO).

A graduate of Leadership Scott County 2004 and Leadership Kentucky 2007, Biddle is committed to serving her community. Her board service includes Georgetown/Scott County Tourism Commissioner and Chair 2007-2011 and Board of Directors for the Georgetown Scott County Chamber of Commerce 2009-2014 as Vice President of Leadership Development.

 

Presently, she serves on the Scott County Public Library Board of Trustees and as a Facilitator for the Dr. James Stillwell Ministries.

 

Jeanne is blessed with two sons and an outstanding circle of friends. She is a member of the Elkhorn Creek Quilt Guild, Scott County Homemakers Club, North Carolina Carteret County Historical Society, and National Quilts of Valor Foundation.

Robert Swanigan began his law enforcement career in 1992 with the Georgetown Police Department. Over his 25 year career Robert worked his way through the ranks of the department serving as a Patrolman, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and his current rank of Assistant Chief of Police. Robert is a graduate of the United States Secret Service’s NCFI Computer Forensics Program and the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

 

A lifelong resident of Scott County, Robert and his wife Shannon have three children, Drew, Sara and Kayden. In addition to his law enforcement career, Robert enjoys working as a NCAA / NAIA Basketball Referee. In his free time Robert enjoys spending time with his family and friends and photography.

Evan Calvin is the Co-Founder of LandCal, an authorized GlobalTranz agent located in Georgetown.

LandCal partners with GlobalTranz to deliver freight solutions globally. LandCal was established with the concept of taking logistics customer service to the next level with streamlined supply chain processes that improve efficiencies, create visibility and manage financial spend through a leading-edge technology platform. They are focused on improved customer experience by building long term sustainable partnerships that foster innovation throughout the supply chain.

Evan and his wife, Shelby, moved to Scott County in 2009 from northwest Ohio. They have a son and daughter. 

Evan holds a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of Kentucky. He is an active member of Grace Christian Church, volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and is a mentor for Transform Scott County.

Kris was raised in North Carolina and has been working in Georgetown since 2015.

She is the owner of Castle Insurance and been in business for almost four years.  She is married and has three daughters, and two bonus kids.

 

She is a member of the Marketing and Events committee of the Chamber of Commerce, a Board member of The Gathering Place Mission and a member of the 2018/2019 Leadership Scott County Class.

Bailey is the Marketing Director at Georgetown/Scott County Tourism Commission, where she develops marketing and advertising campaigns and assists with special events attracting visitors to the Georgetown/Scott County community.

 

Bailey holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration-Marketing from the University of Kentucky and an Associate's Degree in Arts from Bluegrass Community and Technical College.

 

She is involved with many events and organizations throughout Scott County including, Celebrate Georgetown, AirFest, Festival of the Horse, KiteFest, Party on the Square and Seed to Feed. Bailey is a member of the 2018-2019 Leadership Scott County Class.

 

Bailey was born and raised in Georgetown and loves to share her hometown with others.

Bret has worked in the Real-Estate industry since 1993 as a realtor and a mortgage loan office. He currently works for Coldwell Banker McMahan as a Realtor. He also owns Georgetown Vacation Rentals which has been open since 2015. He also is the only Realtor in Kentucky that is involved with Hero Home Advantage, a program that give 25% of his commission to active, retired and volunteer: Military, Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, First Responders, Health Care providers and Teachers.

He has a passion to serve the Scott County Community. He has served on the Chamber's Membership committee for three years, as well as being a Chamber Ambassador. He is also a member of the 2018/19 Leadership Scott County class. 

Originally from Bloomington, Minnesota, Bret and his wife Nancy moved to Kentucky in 2014 to get out of the snowy north. After an extensive search for place to relocate, they chose the greatest town in the world-Georgetown, KY.

Daniel Harrison is a life long Scott Countian where he resides with his two children and wife, Michiko.

He fell in love with craft beer during a three year stent teaching English in Japan – where he met partner, Nathan Coppage.

Daniel mostly handles public relations for his company, Country Boy Brewing, and is a founding board member of the Kentucky Guild of Brewers where he is currently serving as Vice President.

He attended Georgetown College where he double majored in History and French Language and minored in business administration.

Furthering his education, Daniel attended The Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce where he received his Masters of Arts with a focus on International Organizations and Agricultural Economics.

Dr. Kevin Hub is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree, Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond with a Masters of Arts in Education, and Spalding University in Louisville with a Doctorate in Education. He is currently the Superintendent of Schools in Scott County.

 

Dr. Hub is in his twenty-fourth (25th) year in education after serving in the military for forty (40) months including a six (6) month tour in Desert Storm where he was awarded the Bronze Star medal and the Army Commendation medal with “V” device for Valor.

Kevin is the husband of Nanette and is the father of Keaton (26), Kasey (15), and Luke (11).

Pat Littleton is President of Classic Blinds and Green Light Marketing.  He is married to Judy Littleton.

 

Previously he served as VP Membership, VP Communications & Marketing, and served on Economic Affairs.

 

Pat enjoys keeping up with his three children, five grandchildren, and Macy the cat.  His free time involves

following the Kentucky Wildcats, volunteering, and the great outdoors.

Matt is the General Manager of Community Relations and Government Affairs at Toyota Tsusho America and a Captain in the Kentucky Army National Guard. He and his wife, Ashley, have two children and own Slainte Public House, which received the 2018 New Business of the Year award.

 

Matt is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a B.A. in Political Science and the inaugural Leadership Bell County class. He is active in Crossroads church and is passionate about responding to God’s call to serve others in our community. He also enjoys any opportunity to spend time with family and friends, and playing softball.

 

After moving here from the mountains of Eastern Kentucky, Matt is proud to call Georgetown and Scott County home and is excited about the opportunity to serve the community as a member of the Chamber Board.

Amy has been the Executive Director for Scott County Habitat for Humanity for four years.  Before that Amy worked with the American Institute for Foreign Study as the Community Coordinator for the Lexington area.  She has over 32 years experience in the non-profit world. Amy has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Morehead State University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. 

 

Amy is a member of the Georgetown Women's Club and serves on the Family Self Sufficiency Program Committee with the Georgetown Housing Authority. 

 

 Amy and her husband, Damon have lived in Scott County with their two daughters for over 15 years.  In their spare time, Amy and Damon provide Trivia Night fundraisers for churches, groups and organizations in central Kentucky.

Nate Schwartz is an insurance agent for Chenault & Hoge in downtown Georgetown.

Originally from New Jersey, Nate made Georgetown his home after graduating from the University of Kentucky in 2009. He has 2 amazing daughters, Renae age 6 and Zoey age 4.

 

Nate is an active member of Grace Christian Church, a Scott County YMCA coach and board member, a graduate of the 2017-2018 Scott County Leadership program, and current steering committee member for Leadership Scott County.

 

He has been serving on the Membership council for the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce since 2016, is a Chamber Ambassador, and received the Chamber Ambassador of the Year award in 2018. “I have a passion for meeting new people and businesses in the area and making them feel welcome; I believe that the Chamber serves a vital role in this growing community and the driving force is our members.”


In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, rooting for the Big Blue, and horse racing.

Recently retired from Georgetown College as the Director of Human Resources, Tracie now works part time with Hanna Resource Group as a Human Resources Consultant. She is the current Treasurer for the Woman’s Association of Georgetown College and a member of the Scott County Governmental Affairs Committee.

 

Tracie is also the author of the book “Financial Fundamentals". She attends Victory Life Church and co-leads a Financial Fundamentals class at her church with her husband Gene. They live in Georgetown.

Mark Walls is the Central Region President for Whitaker Bank and formerly the Executive Vice President of Whitaker Bank for Georgetown/Scott County.

 

He is a graduate of The Stoner Graduate School Of Banking, Cannon Trust School and Berea College where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration.

Mark volunteers at Scott County Habitat for Humanity, The Cardinal Sports Club and is an Elder at Harmony Christian Church.

 

He is a long time resident of Georgetown where he lives with his wife, Lisa and three children, Matt, Josh & Carly.

Michael Willis and his wife, Katherine, along with their two children have called Georgetown home since January of 2015.  He is the Branch Manager of Community Trust Bank and his wife is a RN at the University of Kentucky Hospital.

 

He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a focus on Finance. 

 

He is an active board member with the Scott County YMCA and a graduate of the Scott County Leadership program from 2016-2017.  In his free time he loves to spend time with his family which is spread across the state and golfing when there is time.
