Legislative Representation
A pro-business voice to government officials - local, state and national.
The Chamber:
- monitors proposed legislation and regulations at all levels
- advocates pro-business positions and communicates those positions to policy makers and the public
- develops and supports coalitions with other business, trade and community organization
- informs members and organizes business action through legislative update, action alerts and committee involvement
- educates business people about the political and legislative process and involves them to achieve lasting positive change
- conducts member surveys on local issues
- monitors city/county P&Z meetings
